The Norwegian-Swiss Chamber of Commerce was officially opened in Norway at a ceremony held at the Residence of the Ambassador of Switzerland in Oslo.
The ceremony was hosted by H.E. Nathalie Marti, Ambassador of Switzerland to the Kingdom of Norway, and attended by Mr Stian Christensen, Director of the Section for Northern and Western Europe at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, along with the Chamber’s Board of Directors and guests from business and diplomacy.
The Chamber maintains a presence in both Switzerland and Norway. This dual presence allows it to serve its members directly in both countries, providing local knowledge, support and access to both business communities.
The opening in Oslo follows the Chamber’s Swiss opening ceremony, held on 16 September at the Residence of the Royal Norwegian Ambassador in Bern. Taken together, the two ceremonies mark the establishment of the Chamber as a permanent platform for trade, investment and exchange between Norway and Switzerland.
The Chamber expresses its sincere gratitude to H.E. Nathalie Marti and the Embassy of Switzerland in Oslo for their generous hospitality, and to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway for its support.
